Hybrid Microwave Integrated Circuit (HMIC) RF Technician /Technologist to test, assemble troubleshoot prototype circuits and mechanical parts. Previous experience with HMIC assembly, wire bonding (wedge & ball) and ribbon bonding (wedge & parallel gap). Perform tests and evaluations of electrical systems or prototype. Troubleshoot and replace electrical circuitry. Tuning of RF and microwave modules and assist in the design and preparation of documentation. Must have tuning experience for the manufacture of high power solid state amplifier, upconverters /downconverters and transceivers from L- band to Q-band. Electronics Technologist Diploma and familiarity with clean room practices and ESD protection practices.
